We didn’t have a week off.

She jumped right in, she stepped up and learned things very quickly. Not only is she physically gifted but she’s a student of the game.

I think that this is the place to be. It’s got a lot of support, we’ve got great facilities, and we’ve got a great group to start with here.

It was a time of the season where we had to give it a little extra boost.

Having this week off was definitely a plan in terms of really being able to focus on what we’re doing as a team.

It’s going to take a lot of hard work, but I think that we can be top 10 in the national rankings.

We got back to organizing things a little bit better. Sometimes, when adversity comes in a game, we kind of get away from what we’re trying to do.

You need to be able to try some different things without knowing that in three days you’re playing in a game and you don’t want to mix it up.

It was kind of a place where I was able, in that conference, to grow as a coach.

For whatever reason, playing here does seem to make a difference for the team. They feel more comfortable and they can kind of relax a little bit in their routine.

San Diego State is a team that we feel like we can go and beat. Particularly having it at home and it being senior day, we feel we can go in there and win that...

This tournament is big. Everybody is really excited to see where we match up with the top teams in the country.

She’s a huge strength for us. When we have breakdowns on defense she’s made some amazing saves for us to win games.

It gives everybody a chance to see and feel good that they were confident and this is something we can do every quarter.

In those special situations we were not where we wanted to be.

Of all the games of the weekend, [tonight’s] is going to be our biggest game.

All the teams in conference championships are tough and we have to come out with the same kind of effort and energy that we had [Saturday].

I feel that on any given day we can beat any of them. We’re going into every game thinking we can win.

It should be a pretty tough game, but it’s definitely a game that we can win.

We’re going into the tournament really focused on that one game. We have some unfinished business with them.

I think [the team] understands that Hawaii is going to be better prepared for us this time.

It’s just a matter of us being disciplined on offense and reducing the amount of mistakes.

I think conditioning will come into play. The team that goes out there and sets the pace, sets the tempo, will be the team that wins the game.

Throughout the game we had some really nice opportunities. If we shoot a little higher [or] we shoot a little lower, we get around the goalie. On the last possession we got a good shot...

In the top ten you have to be on your game and there’s going to be no easy matches.

We can give the top teams in the country a good game. And outside of that, we feel like we’re right there with every other team in the country.

There’s just more people gunning for us now. It should give us confidence, but also we’ve got a lot of work to do to move up and keep moving in a positive direction.

They’ve been a huge impact. The strength that they have, it gives us a lot more options, particularly on the offensive end.
