In 15 years with Knox football this is the first night game for me. I’ve asked everyone I can think of at the college and they can’t ever remember playing a night game.

They’re all good. It’s great to see the ball going through the uprights at Knox College. We haven’t seen that in a couple of years.

They guys are excited about it. It’s like high school again.

He’s always been one of the hardest workers in the weight room and one of our strongest players overall. If you put it all together, he’s among the strongest guys we’ve had here.

Everything that we needed to go right since the end of 2004 has gone right. I could not be happier with our off-season lifting, running, recruiting, team chemistry and staff.

As far as strength numbers go, it’s the strongest team we’ve ever put on the field.

We have three freshmen kicking for us this year and all of them are going to do something.

We’re really trying to get our screen-game going again. And Kevin is a big part of that.

We’re happy with our quarterback play and Paul Bennett emerging at tight end. Our defense had a good day. We gave up 217 yards but I think 130 of those were on two plays.
