It will be nice to play games at night. This gives more fans a chance to see us play. We want to try and offer discounts to senior citizens and to broaden our fan base.

As outstanding as Casey was, I thought Danielle was equally great. To make catch after catch all day was remarkable.

I was telling people before the tournament, she’s the best I’ve ever seen. And everybody was saying, ‘Well she’s probably not that good.’ But after we left the tournament, everybody was convinced.

Casey was on the top of her game for most of the time.

We have looked OK in preseason scrimmages, but our bats need to come around. We are better offensively than we were a year ago.

Our goal was the championship and we fell short, but I’m proud of our overall effort and the fact that we played well against some outstanding teams.

We want to use this experience to build momentum for the upcoming Class AA playoffs. We were tough against some fine teams.

We came out and played well and took care of business like we needed to. We have to keep doing that because the road will be that much tougher as we move on.
