Ten thousand pounds of food feeding 20,000 people. That gave us pause.

Every school from the elementary to the two middle schools to the high school, we had representatives of every school.

It was a wonderful experience. All of the schools came together for one cause.

You hear about troubled adolescents. That was not the young men and women I saw. They were incredible workers, they had vision, they were dedicated and determined and committed to the project.

They made sure things were running smoothly. They took the pressure off of parent volunteers.
