It’ll be my favorite birthday.

There’s not as much of a tie between Stanford and Notre Dame as there was the past three years. It’s just another game. It’s not as much of a rivalry without him there.

It’s been a long, strange trip. I expect things to get better this season. We’re really high on coach Harris. He’s going to be great for this program. There’s an excitement again.

Everyone was hoping for immediate results, but in every facet in life things grow with time. It’s the same in the football program. It will get better every single week.
