We are not really a school. We are not really a public place. We are a hybrid school and artists’ colony.

The world is getting smaller and the art world is becoming more global. And although people go between the U.S. and Europe all the time, this is still primarily an American place.

Some sleep in their studios so they can wake and work.

What we are looking for is not only accomplishment. But the promise of accomplishment. We are not looking for products but rather, progress, a moving forward in some way.
