In the 1970s and 1980s, many biologists thought wolverines were gone from Washington. It’s only in the last 10 years we were sure they were here.

No one’s ever studied them in the Pacific states before.

We don’t know how they live, where they go, how many of them there are.

With this technology, we can now begin to gather reliable information on the movements, home range, and habitat of wolverines in the Pacific Northwest.
