It’s a huge disappointment. It’s something at the beginning of the year, if you told me it would have happened, I would never have believed it.

In college football, when someone leaves, they get replaced. We’ve got a good quarterback in Kirsch. He’s not a rookie, he’s a good player. He’s going to come in, produce and win games.

He’s the type of player that any moment can do something big.

A lot of it has to do with the senior class. We have to make sure we get over the hump. We have to finish these games. In our minds is a sense of urgency...

This team can win a championship. If we couldn’t, we shouldn’t step on the field. With the senior class we have and the underclassmen we have, there’s no reason why we can’t.
