Lying on my back (in a hospital bed) seven years ago, I wouldn’t have thought about playing the Open or doing this for a living.

I’m disappointed in the finish but I’ll get over it. That is golf.

Today was as good as I’ve played all week. I actually played pretty solid. I scored better yesterday, but with the conditions, today was a better round. It really is tough out there.

I reminded myself I was still in with a chance providing I play decent around the back nine.
