This was a good win especially because it was on the road in the SEC. Our seniors really stepped up big and exhibited great leadership, namely Sarah Lowe at the point position.

Brittney Vaughn turned up her penetration during their run and we got anxious.

She took our last loss very hard. But her numbers did not project the heart she played with. She knows that she’s going to do better.

I think that we’ve proven that on any given night, we can make a great competition and that gives our team a lot of confidence.

I take full responsibility for that. The amount of legs that we used in the Mississippi State game and maybe pressing as hard as we did coming out against Kentucky … I don’t think we...

Our problems started earlier, before the foul trouble.

You’ve got to play to stay. Starting in the tournament, you’ve got to set your goals and refocus.

Our seniors can carry with them a lot of pride because they put their footprint on Florida women’s basketball.

The season didn’t end the way that we wanted it to. But I think this year’s team did a lot of great things for Florida basketball, the milestones they hit.

I thought it was a great game. It was about as close as it can be going down to overtime. I don’t know if we necessarily stopped them but we battled. That’s all I ask...

If we’re going to make it a ballgame up in Tennessee and do what we need to do, one of the categories is rebounding. We have worked and worked and worked and talked about it...

I have a great deal of respect for coach Flanagan and his program. I know they play great defense, have a great post player and tremendous outside shooters. They’re a dangerous, disciplined tournament team, and...

What we don’t have is any one person feeling like they have to carry the load by themselves.

It was nip and tuck and Mississippi State was hitting some unbelievable shots.

I think our veteran players did a great job for us tonight. There was a huge size difference inside and they had the obvious advantage. But we did a good job of attacking the basket...

We prepared all week to win this game, that’s why we didn’t roll around on the floor and carry on when that final horn sounded.

When you set those goals, you always want a little bit more. I don’t want that to overshadow the things that we accomplished this year…There were a lot of individual improvements, and the players continued...

Mississippi State came and played a very tough game today.

Kentucky had 55 rebounds the last time we played them, the most of them coming in the second half. I challenged our team at halftime, specifically the seniors not to let that happen again. They...

It hurt us a lot. We wanted to stay aggressive but the officials have to make the calls.

I really don’t know what to say. This is the first time we’ve ever gotten to do this, coming back to play tomorrow. I am just glad we don’t have to go back to the...

They understand the focus, and I think that focus is something you can only learn through experience. It’s about March magic and the players who have that belief are going to be on the teams...

We continue to learn that lesson. In order to win in the SEC, you’ve got to control the boards.

I think the first half we dug ourselves a big hole. If we could start the game the way we started the second half, maybe we would have had a different outcome.

It was like being on The Hulk at Universal Studios. You’re real high, then you go back down and then you’re on your way back up again.

We’ve been kind of squeezed in the middle there. For the women’s game to have its own night gives the media time to give it sufficient coverage.

Sam Mahoney really stepped up big for Kentucky today. She was very offensive-minded. Today she was able – getting late in the shot clock a few times – she was able to make things happen,...

Looking at ESPN.com [Monday] and the bracket, they said that Florida could be the most schizophrenic team in the tournament. Well, you know what? When you’re schizophrenic, you have that chance of being pretty good.

We said, ‘We cannot leave her open’. We went to our match up [defense], [they’re] cutting through, she’s left wide open.

It’s exciting. I don’t think this team cares where it goes. We’re just excited to be in. We know that on any given night we can give anybody some competition.

It was a well-fought game. I’ve got to compliment our team, but more importantly, our bench.

I hope they take a long look at what these seniors accomplished this season.

Teams are playing on passion and emotion and they really turn up their focus. That’s what makes (for) such great games when you get to the SEC Tournament.

One of the things we really focus on is building our offense and trying to erase the turnovers. Our players were confident when they were shooting and Sarah Lowe did a great job of pushing...

I don’t know any other way I would have rather spent my birthday. These kids are really special.

It’s a team we played two years ago. Even though they have a few different players, it’s going to be a battle. New Mexico is a team that finished up No. 24 in the country....

In the SEC, when you get out-rebounded like that, you’re not going to win too many ball games.

In watching her with her AAU team, she had the ability to score away from the basket as well as underneath. One of the biggest things is her nose for the ball. Rebounding is something...

We made some adjustments at halftime and our team really picked up the intensity.

I think she’s a ball player. She does a good job of using her body to get positions. She also sees the floor very well, and I think she’s one of our better passers in...

We’ll find a way to replace [the seniors]. It may not be doing things the exact same way as we did this year. I think it’s going to be important for the group as a...

Sarah Lowe is an amazing competitor. She does a tremendous job of distributing the ball and igniting our defense. She handles pressure very well and is a big part of why we’re in the NCAA...

I think Dalila has matured a great deal in the four years she’s been here.

I had no doubt she would be successful.

I think this was a very clarifying time for us as we’ve gone through right now. Now our focus and emphasis has to be maintaining that focus of what we want our M.O. to be.

I think that Georgia played their level of intensity to the top to start with and I think we came in passive. We made two quick turnovers from the start and then it just rose...

I think it was another tough in-state rival game, very similar to the one we had up in Tallahassee.

We were not as focused as we should have been going to Auburn. We have to put our feet back on the ground and understand we still have a lot of work to do going...

They are going to be highly remembered. When you look at where they started and where they’ve come, I’m proud of them.

I’m not going to sit here and start patting myself on the back. We’ve got work to do. The biggest thing I have confidence in is the team has confidence in us as a staff.
