We have a very cautious consumer in an environment with rising prices for (things like) gasoline and natural gas. But in my opinion, it won’t cause people to stop traveling.

We are going to support our team members who decide to demonstrate. But we will offer incentives for everybody who comes to work on that day.

This cancellation was not due to anything Palm Springs did or didn’t do.

We’ve landed at least three pieces of business – 1,500-room nights.

It will be very positive for Palm Springs because August tends to be the slowest month of the year for tourism.

We’re not just selling the convention center; we’re selling the destination. The convention planners are looking at the whole package of what’s available here. The downtown reflects on the whole city.

Things are looking good for 2005-2006, but for 2007 and into 2008 we are going to have to go into a very aggressive mode.

Everything is going as smooth as could be.
