Personally, I’ve found that the kind of thing that I like is going into somebody else’s area and not playing their music but doing whatever I do in their area.

I think it’s important to never play ‘crazy’ – you have to know what kind of crazy you’re playing.

I’ll never quit playing country music, or at least acknowledging it, always, as the cornerstone of what I am.

I enjoy working on new, different types of characters. Playing a range is what excites me.

II know very, very little about the ukulele, but I actually grew up playing the viola from 4th grade through high school.

If you don’t like affirmative action, what is your plan to guarantee a level playing field of opportunity?

Our government needs to adopt a pro-market agenda that doesn’t pick winners and losers, but it invites competition and it levels the playing field for everyone.

I got my first tennis racket on my seventh birthday. And because we had a tennis court in our backyard, I played every day. By ten I was playing competitively.

The day we stop playing will be the day we stop learning.

I am completely grateful and pleased for the attention and the recognition I’ve received for playing the roles that I’ve played.

People in power, they’re so used to people kind of playing up to them.
