I am ready to go to Serbia

This is a great day for the Serbian nation

NATO is the aggressor, killer of my nation and my state, … Serbia will continue to fight against aggression to defend our country and national unity against (the) aggression of NATO countries.

We are ready to start dialogue concerning media, the position of the political parties, the electoral system in Serbia.

I’m calling on our supporters to ignore the ban, … If we show we are afraid now, tomorrow they may forbid us to drink water or breathe air.

This is a great day for the Serbian nation, for all citizens of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, for the future of the peace and stability in this region.

We are demanding very brave, very democratic changes in the country, … We are demanding democratic elections.

We now only have one institution and that is our church — we all belong to it.

Let Serbia turn out en masse on September 24 and vote for itself, its children and its freedom.

The people of Serbia are in prison. We are in prison, because the governments of Serbia and Yugoslavia are not there by the will of the people,

My country Serbia looks very close to Hiroshima. Very soon all Serbia will look like Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Why, why this collective punishment against one small and innocent nation?

My voice of reason has now been silenced,

We must replace (Milosevic’s) regime by democratic elections … I am trying to gather a majority of citizens of Serbia to force Milosevic to resign.

Our role is very often ruled by the law of power instead of the power of law, … We are too small to change things. We must be very brave to approach compromise.
