It was certainly an excellent success.

With all the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina, it was great to see all of these people come and support the people of Matagorda County who need help.

It really turned out great, we had such great response from businesses and people showing up.

I want to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, staff and board members as well as the service agencies because they were responsible for selling the tickets to the event.
