The course was playing difficult, that’s why the scores are a little higher. That back nine is difficult. It’s tight and there are a lot of hazards, so if you’re not right on, you can get in trouble in a hurry. I’m not saying the front nine was easy, but that back-nine was a monster.
The girls weren’t real pleased with the scores, but a lot of that is that they expect to shoot so well each time out. But I’m real proud of them for sticking it out on a very difficult course. You never know with golf what that particular day is going to bring.
We?re not even thinking about at this time. We don?t want to get ahead of ourselves.
With those two it’s all business on the golf course. How many times have those two been head-to-head? A putt or two here, a putt or two there and they’re tied. They tied at the (Illinois-Missouri) Challenge and they’re shooting good scores. I expect to see that continue for both of them.
We don’t really discuss that. We’re all aware of it, but we don’t talk about it much. We’ve taken the approach all season to just focus on the match or tournament at hand. Like I told the girls before this tournament, I just want them to go out and have fun. I want them to...
They stuck it out and didn’t give up. I know they can both improve their games.
I?m very pleased how the girls played today. I?m excited for the whole team.
Courtney stepped up and came through for us. She played well.
