I think it’s a true experience of what fire service is all about. It’s why this all came about.

The scholarships don’t necessarily have to be used at a university. If someone wanted to go to a technical school, or even something like hairdressing school, they could use it for that, too.

He’s been in the fire service most of his life. He’s given all of his time to the community.

People don’t want to march so far.

All of this is possible because of volunteers. There’s nothing like it.
