They probably missed some shots they ordinarily make.

If it ended tonight, I think we’d be in. There’s a lot of basketball left to play but it doesn’t hurt to have this win on our resume.

Because we had the nucleus of our team win that tournament two years ago — the juniors and seniors right now were freshmen and sophomores — I worry about that being more of a negative...

I’m very pleased for Courtney. His presence was a huge difference for our team.

They’re deserving of their ranking and their reputation. We have a ways to go obviously.

I think for the road we’ve traveled this is a significant achievement for our kids. The way we’ve been able to get to this moment has been to stay focused and take things as they...

I really believe the way we’ve played on the offensive end has really taken the life out of us defensively. This has been my biggest pet peeve about basketball in today’s time. It seems to...

It is tough to win with some many turnovers. Twenty-four turnovers and some key mistakes by our kids, in some real critical stages, not just in the last minute and a half of the ball...

Our kids showed they still have some spirit about them. I love that about our kids right now. They have shown the fight and energy. I think many people were counting them out.

Getting to this point is such a significant accomplishment for any program, with the history and tradition of the NIT. It really is a big thrill – particularly for our seniors. It has been well...

We really did a horrendous job taking care of the basketball. You can’t have that many turnovers and expect to win.

There are things in this game that are contagious. And you saw that today.

They have some explosive guys who are tough, experienced. They have shown they can win anywhere, anytime, especially with juniors and seniors playing prominent roles. ? They can play a couple different styles. We certainly...

We’re still in the thick of things. I’m confident we’re going to be fine.

He’s doing his part when he’s being doubled. He just needs to be a little more aggressive off the ball in terms of when the ball goes up that he go get it and offensive...

We had to dig out of an emotional hole. We’ve got a tough senior class and you can see that these guys still enjoy wearing that uniform.

I’m not trying to get into the specifics about the calls — it was obviously a terrific crew — but it certainly was a situation I disagreed with and I got a technical for it...

Coming off somewhat of a devastating loss, I was proud of how we bounced back and responded.

He struggled tremendously and obviously with some of the personnel that we have right now if he’s not going to score well it’s going to be tough for us. It started off early that he...

Obviously, one possession here or there was going to determine the outcome for either team. We certainly need more production from a few of our other guys.

It was really a struggle for us offensively.

He had a tremendous floor game, and got everyone involved. It was beautiful to watch him play tonight.

Having those players back make us a much better team, a deeper team.

We anticipated the post-double. When you post-double, you choose what shots to give your opponent. They chose to give us shots on the perimeter, so we thought we might have a good afternoon. It was...

It’s a very tough league and the way our teams have played all year and now with everyone beating each other in conference play it will only stay that way. This league has shown its...

I really thought that Chris Hunter was a catalyst for us.

Obviously it was a disappointing ending and loss. You can certainly look at a lot of different stats and reasons but none more telling than 24 turnovers. That was our undoing and it was unfortunate...

For us right now, as I told our kids, we’ve moved on from what happened in the past. We’re focused on what’s in front of us. We put in the effort, and we are looking...

One of the real positives for us throughout the tournament so far is that we’ve been able to go 10 deep. We used different combinations, and different opportunities presented themselves.

We need to get back to our order. I’m hoping we can do that the next couple days prior to our game on Wednesday.

It was a gritty effort by both teams, but hitting those three-pointers was the difference for us. Tonight, we did a horrendous job of finishing at the basket. We were fortunate to shoot such a...

It’s healthy for our kids to look at this as we’re the No. 1-ranked conference in America, and we’ve been able to finish .500 with us and Michigan State, both finishing 8-8 in our league...

Daniel has a way to will shots in and will us to victory. His courage and his will were certainly on display tonight.

The way our league has been all year it would be a daunting challenge for anyone (to win four games in four days). It’s a daunting challenge to win three in a row in this...

We’re very fortunate. We’re very happy to win this game and walk out of here with a win in double-overtime.

You need things to go your way when you’re down like that. You have no margin for error. And certainly a missed shot or a missed lay-up … things like that happened for us. And...

We haven’t won this game in a long time. Thinking anything beyond this … we have a game coming up Saturday. … This is a step in (the right) direction. We’re climbing the ladder. I...

I’m hoping he’s going to respond in the correct manner, and so far he has. I’ve always thought of every moment as a teaching moment. Unfortunately, sometimes teaching moments have to come in some adverse...

For us to show the signs of life and energy and passion and defense, that’s what we needed. I think you go through some stretches where the season can beat you down a little bit....

He’s a big-time post presence. His double-double and his ability to score around the rim was certainly hurtful for us.

We’re going to face a team that has played in the tournament and won in the tournament. That’s one of the things that is concerning me.

Daniel Horton has been a catalyst for us all season in so many ways. But certainly one of the differences for us (four-game winning streak) is that we’ve been able to play 10 players.

We panicked a little bit trying to get back with one pass or one possession. When shots weren’t falling like they had earlier this season, we were pressing a little bit.

There are trappings in every step along the trail. Concerns over complacency or (being) overconfident and feeling too good about yourself. But I’m hopeful and I’m very confident given the group that we have that...

It didn’t help, so obviously it’s tough.

You can certainly look at a lot of stats, but none are more telling than 24 turnovers. That was our undoing this afternoon.

I thought we would have to play a lot of people to stay fresh and play the way we wanted to play against them.

It’s nice to have seniors remember those things, and internalize those things that we talked about at the beginning of the season. Having players back makes us a much deeper team, and it makes us...

I was really impressed with the energy and effort that our kids brought here this evening. I was very pleased with the way we played defensively.

He really led us tonight. Those were clutch shots.
