Around 50 inmates were involved. Tickets were written for inciting riots and participating in a riot. All the prisoners participating have been transferred to higher security prisons.

The officers and staff handled the disturbance professionally, efficiently and courageously. I had the opportunity to view the incident, the tape, about a half-dozen times.

This is kind of out of the ordinary. I’m puzzled. In the past, they have been more forthcoming. I believe the public needs to know the truth.

That weapon was fired at least 20 times.
