She’s a senior and she deserves a chance to show us what she can do… She’s been waiting her whole hockey career to play in a game like this.

She has unlimited potential and could be one of the top goalies in the state next year.

Six different kids got goals so that’s a positive and I thought overall we dominated play.

Overall we really took it to them and the only time they could get it out of their end was when we were on the penalty kill.

We may have a little rust on us to start with so we will have to rely on outworking them until we get the rust off.

I think we’ve improved more than they have. Warroad has a lot of juniors and seniors but our young kids have picked it up.

We have to get to the net. Four or five of the goals at Roseau [on Saturday] were off of rebounds.

We forced them into taking some penalties and took them out of the game by distracting them.

I haven’t seen a team play at that level in a long time. When they wanted to out there they could do whatever they wanted to us.

We knew that if we played like we have been that we’d win by four or five goals. So the score didn’t really surprise us.

I’ll stand by my decision to start her. But I will also stand by my decision to pull her.

Janae was unbelievable. She’s realizing she has three weeks left and she doesn’t want to go out in three, she wants one more.

It is a great accomplishment for those girls.

The confidence level on this team right now is so high and they’re really thinking that they can play with any team in the state.

Being the leading scorer on a team with four kids with over 40 points just proves how special she is.

You won’t find a better individual effort.
