The cost of Yucca Mountain is approaching $100 billion, and Senator Reid believes too much money has been wasted on the project.

He is trying to get the Forest Service and the tribe to reach an agreement. He appreciates what the tribe is trying to do.

Any contributions he received were part of lawful fundraising. Senator Reid has done nothing wrong and sees no need to return the donations.

George Bush and Republicans in Congress have put this country on the wrong track with their misplaced priorities.

It is not a coincidence. Sen. Reid is the Democratic leader and a senior member of the Appropriations Committee, which puts him in a key position to help Nevada.

Obviously, Sen. Reid would like to see a Democrat get in the race. He thinks Jack would make a good candidate. If he decides to run, he’ll have (Reid’s) support.
