We have to turn it around very fast, because, of course, it’s perishable, and we have to have the cooler space to keep it, and we have to distribute it really fast.

Extra money would be helpful. We get private donations, corporate donations and we ask the legislation to increase its funding through Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program, which is in the budget process.

We have long and cold winters, so people get hit very hard by increased utility and heating costs.
