I couldn’t believe it. I just went into a cloud and blocked everything out. Sometimes I still can’t believe it.

If Agate is sleeping when they arrive, we approach her and I explain that they must tap the carpet near her before petting her anywhere on her body.

I knew then that she was a very unique cat.

They cannot hear predatory animals and take evasive action in order to defend themselves.

Agate can’t hear squeaky toys, so movement is her main attraction.

Without it, she often howls at night until I wake up and turn on a light.

When she finds a new spot I must remember that one, too.
