These would include a right to live life free from intimidation and destruction of property by opportunists, as well as the freedom to vote or campaign for political office.

Parliament considered national interest and in as much as people raise their objections, no one will intimidate or deny the people in the town the right to vote.

The low turnout has a lot to do with the fact that people were intimidated. People are not sure if they will be protected after they have gone to cast their votes.
