It seems like the team is really starting to click because of what Steven Evarts is doing. He definitely has a great future ahead of him.

Even though we lost I feel good about the way we bounced back (from Friday). I think we’re in fine mental shape.

With losing seven guys from last year I knew we were going to have to jump on his back, especially at the beginning [of the season]. But to throw no-hitters, we really didn’t expect that.

The guys could feel it in the fourth and all they kept talking about was taking the momentum. After that, I knew we were in good shape.

I get criticized for my aggressive style, but that’s who we are as a team and the guys respond to that. And I would do it all over again the same way.
