Everybody that is left is in a state of limbo and doesn’t know if their neighborhood is going to be rebuilt or what is going to happen to the city.
But it is somewhat true because, as a society, we have short memories and there are always new tragedies to capture our collective imagination.
The streets we saw in the 9th Ward were cleared but it looks like the hurricane happened a few weeks ago.
We had some very skilled people in our group. A few do home construction and remodeling. I just brought my enthusiasm.
