With the death of John Vaught, we lose an epic figure of 20th century college football.

Rod means a lot to all of us. He’s been wonderfully successful. He’s an honorable man and I have the highest regard for him.

We are here to thank God for the life of coach John Vaught and to celebrate his extraordinary life. He was a public figure but a private man. He was tough but kind.
