We swung the bats really well. Offensively we were pretty good.

We got lucky, as he all of a sudden matured. He’s got a great upside.

He threw a lot of strikes and was ahead in the count a lot. Throwing the first strike is always really important.

It’s always nice to score early, but any time you score early sometimes it’s not enough. We’ve scored early at times, and they’ve come back, and we’ve gotten beat.

I’m real excited and real happy for the kids. It was a great success and a great series for us.

This weekend is going to be big for us. It helps us if we win games like today.

A guy in Triple-A is one step up, so if one of my players gets a base hit off a guy the big leagues just called up, my player can say he got a hit...
