Literally, once we got there and saw the people involved, we decided to stay there for weeks.
Part of why she’s so successful is her own personal outrage about injustice. She’s like a dog with a bone and she won’t stop until she’s told that story.
I think it fuels her. The fact that she can see the work she’s done make an impact most journalists don’t experience that.
That’s part of what’s keeping her on this track. Once you do that, it’s hard to go do a film about oil prices.
