This is goodbye and good riddance to Hurricane Frances.

That’s a very heavy part of who we are.

There’s a good chance you’ll drive a good bit of the parkway without seeing a ranger.

If we keep getting these really sunny mild afternoons, we’ll have excellent visitation this weekend. It’s a great time to be out.

This has been happening, this sort of erosion of our buying power, if you will, for decades.

This is a big deal for the parkway. The essence is that we’re trying to meet modern traffic safety engineering standards without compromising the historic design of the parkway. It’s going to be tough.

I can’t think of any single section of the parkway — not even a mile — that’s maintained the way it was designed historically.
