I’m taking the 3-iron out more and more because I’m able to hit the 4-wood about a 3-iron distance, but I also have a lot more variety of shots with it.

I was trying to get the last one to pull even with him. But I just couldn’t quite do it.

It was a shot that I struggled with out of the rough this week. I tried to remember some of the shots I hit as a kid in my backyard. I hit it aggressively, and...

The next major isn’t for another seven months. I just want to relish this, and enjoy the fact that for the next seven months, I’m the most recent major winner.

I’ve learned a lot. But it’s not like I could just cram that into a year and have it all down. It’s taken me years of seeing what’s worked well and what hasn’t.

We don’t hear about him much, but as a player, we know he’s a great player. He’s a talented individual and I have a tough match now.

Understand, if you give anybody enough shots, they’ll eventually beat you. I didn’t want them to be intimidated. So I just hit a couple in the water to show them that it’s OK. They relaxed...

I see both sides. There are ways to create a lot more revenue, but there’s also the appeal of having it be a true municipal course that you don’t want to lose sight of either.

I’m still trying to find something that works the best for that event. It’s still a little awkward for me.

Often, in between shots, your mind will wander. But as professional golfers, we pride ourselves on the ability to block things out and focus only on the shot at hand and only on the round....

I think that you’re talking about not just the best player in the game, but the best at being able to do that, to block everything out. I don’t think that it will be a...

In the past, I have not putted Bermuda well. But as I’ve played more and more, listened to Bones, my caddie, who grew up playing Bermuda greens, I’m feeling much comfortable on these surfaces. Last...

I just think the people here are awesome to play in front of and I really enjoy coming here.

To hold all four majors incredible. That’s just one of the most incredible feats in the game. That and Bobby Jones’ Grand Slam and Ben Hogan in ’53 winning three of the four are probably...

It was a huge help. I needed the new driver to combat the added length here at Augusta.

Well, let’s settle down, Grand Slam talk and all.

I was trying to match (Henry’s) score today and when I had six holes left, I only needed three birdies. I thought I could do it, but a bogey and double-bogey kind of derailed me...

There’s a tremendous amount of guys who have a shot. It should be a fun shootout.

Well, I don’t really want to trade next year.

Captain Nicklaus said there were no halves, but I didn’t quite grasp what he meant by that on 15. It was fine. It turned out just great.

It’s just hard to fathom because I have played with him in Ryder Cups and Presidents Cups and seen him at his best. It’s just hard for me to visualize him at anything but his...

There’s a lot of golf left, but I’m entering the final two rounds with a lot more confidence than I’ve had in a while.

I really want to have my kids here and see it. I want to show them the destruction stage and the rebuilding stage. They are going to be reading about this in their history classes.

We’ve used technology from the beginning to differentiate shots. That’s all I’m doing.

It’s going to be a coin toss.

It almost feels like make-believe. My first thought was, ‘I did it! I finally did it!’ I knew I could, but I finally did it.

It seems like he’s able to overpower a lot of courses. I think he’s got to win pretty soon. It’s not just the long game that he plays. He can really play.

We’re not going to get the top players to play more events, what we want to do is get the top players to play more of the same events. And I think that we’re creeping...

Well, it was a fun round. I enjoyed coming out this morning when the greens were fresh and making a couple of putts early. It was fun to keep the ball in play and feel...

This tournament has great practice facilities. It gives me the opportunity to work on my game and get sharp and to not worry about what’s coming up next week.

It was really a tough match. We hit two bad shots that cost us a couple holes coming back but we got it together at the end.

Coming back brings back memories of a major championship. Coming here in 2011 is exciting for us. Everyone is excited to be here, and it does feel like a major.

The most important piece of equipment is the golf ball.

There’s just nothing wrong with letting us make a few birdies every now and then. With the greens being receptive, without any wind, we’re going to make birdies. I think that leads to exciting golf...

To have something like that happen that affects the event is upsetting. I’ve dreamed about this since I was a kid and I was playing for a chance to be in the final group. It’s...

I think that’s probably been the thing I was most proud of about today’s round. On this course, everybody is going to make mistakes. But sometimes it’s hard to forget about it and let it...

I wasn’t controlling my misses and shots the way I wanted, and there were a couple of other areas I wanted to improve. I wasn’t chipping the ball as close as I needed to. So,...

I do enjoy, win, lose or draw, having a chance to compete against him and I know that the more opportunities I have to play head-to-head against him the same events, in the same group,...

The way I look at it is, if you play those three holes at even par, that’s fine. But if you play them really well, you can play them at 1 under ‘¦ or a...

Those last three or four weeks, I really had to fight myself not to play.

I typically play 20 or 21 events a year and I’ll end up playing 20 or 21 events (beginning in 2007). Now, which events I’ll play, I don’t know; I would suspect that two or...

We’re going to have our five biggest events spread out each month. I think that’s terrific. It puts more emphasis on the quality of this event.

He has meant a lot to the game of golf and we’re all pulling for him. We all want him to do better and recover.

I feel like it’s sharp.

I don’t think that the way I plan on playing the golf course is any different being ahead as it would be being behind. I think you have to take what the course gives you.

Let’s settle down Grand Slam talk and stuff. To hold all four majors, that’s one of the most incredible feats in the history of the game.

It has been a long day but a wonderful day. I will look back and cherish some of the shots and putts I was able to make. I was able to manage my misses and...

The difference between here and Augusta is that the fairways are a little tighter here and the rough is a lot thicker. Even though you might be a slightly shorter hitter, hitting it out of...

I love the golf course. I’m very sad that we’re not playing here anymore. I love coming out here. It brings back so many great memories not only the (Mercedes Championships) wins in ’94 and...

Well, unfortunately, they have the video running on one of the channels here at the hotel, so I get to see it every night, isn’t that great? I’ve had a chance to see it a...
