We weren’t expecting the (1,600) to challenge for first. They had all run hard and they were tired, but I think the seniors kind of helped push the freshmen.

She’s been a real pleasant surprise. She’s been in our (1,600 relay) lineup indoors and done very well. This is sort of a strong positive to start the season.

This was the second week in a row. That’s a good place for her to end indoor season and get ready for outdoors.

Our outlook for this year is promising. We have a lot of girls ready to step up and make significant contributions.

It was really nice to see her come out and run a smart race and get first place. It was nice to see her pull that double. It’s a good sign of things to come.

It went pretty well. I was pretty happy with fourth place. The girls competed hard. We had a lot of girls step up and run their best race of the year.
