We started out flat, and got behind quickly. We didn’t start the game with the emotional intensity and desire you need at this level.

I can’t fault our girls over their effort. It’s tough when you’re playing (the Hudson twins). Both players are all-around players, and the rest of the team feeds off that.

We’re just happy that we’ve still got life left. Once you get to this point of the season, it’s all about surviving and advancing.

That was a big play; especially since it was Melton’s man (James) who scored on the previous lay-up. So she kind of owed us that one, but she came through for us when it mattered.
