Nothing has been decided on that so far but that will be done within the next weeks.

This issue is very urgent and it’s of very high importance and therefore we consider that we need this response within the original deadline.

We have enough information to come to a conclusion without the information from the Spanish government.

The commission at this stage has decided to propose that Spain is going to be referred to the (European) Court of Justice for this.

We have given a deadline for April 3 for the French authorities to reply to the Commission to give us some further information about the sequence of events. Hopefully with that information the Commission will...

We informed the Spanish we do not find the request for an extension of the deadline justified, so we expect to receive the response by March 17.

The basic thought behind this is that pensions should be given Europe-wide.

We don’t believe this really changes anything on the ground.

Regarding the free movement of capital, there seems to be no violation of the treaty.

We are monitoring the situation.

We will consider to take the first step of an infringement case if we don’t receive a reply which explains in detail what actually is going on.

Only after that I can disclose any facts and details.

Certain information that was provided to us gave indications and are giving indications that some of the (treaty) principles … have been violated.
