Keep me safe, keep me from harm, keep me in your loving arms.

I think sometimes when we grew up with a parent who is deeply flawed….we learn, subconsciously at least, to expect the worst from everyone else as well….Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be that way forever....

At least at times of loss, we are reminded of our priorities, of our many blessings. In times of gain, we can so often lose our way.

Doesn’t the expansiveness of this make you think of the good Lord? Except we know the ocean ends while He goes on forever.
