I am excited for our players. I am excited about our whole district season.

I think that after the June 13 meeting, there was some heartfelt hurt. I think people felt like they were betrayed.

I would think it will (be back). A lot depends on the adjustment made by the Army Corps. If there are major changes, they may have to come before the whole system again.

There’s always something you’ve never seen before. (But) I was proud of the kids. It was a tough way to lose, but they showed a lot of character and that was good to see.

He’s getting better each time out. I think he’ll continue to get better and we’re excited every time he goes out there.

We’re hoping he’s healthy and ready to go next week. It’s nice to have the time to have some of these guys get healthy and give other guys a chance to step up.

I didn’t now it going into the season, but our depth has been one of our strengths. When the guys have an opportunity to perform, they’ve done it. I think everyone kind of looks forward...

This is a benchmark game. The other team has a lot more to play for, but this is what the playoffs are about. We’ll be ready for their best shot.

It’s good to connect with past championship teams with what we’re trying to accomplish.
