I’m proud of the way we stayed in there and made a few runs.

You can’t go as long as we did without scoring. (Mater Dei) did a good job pushing us out so we couldn’t get the ball to our post players.

I think doing so well last year really helped prepare these girls this season. The girls have really bought into what we’re trying to do … and have really worked hard all year long.

We’re going to have to get a little more play out of our guards if we want to try and beat Mater Dei, but I’m happy for the girls and happy for the win.

To win four titles in a row, you know they have a great program. It’s going to depend on tempo. Whoever controls the pace of the game will probably win.
