Against (eighth-ranked) Texas A&M (Feb. 25th), we were in the hunt and playing decent ball. But we lost it in the bottom of the seventh on a three-run homer. That was a heartbreaker.

As a team, we had a little higher expectations coming in. But we’ve had to look at Plan B. We’ve tried to evaluate performance rather than wins and losses.

It’s the job of the coaching staff to turn that into a positive. We’re in this for the long run. This isn’t a sprint; it’s a marathon.
