Employees need to understand the organizational challenges an employer has. By understanding these challenges and the changes in the workplace, an employee can take responsibility for the impact he or she has on that workplace.

I think this is definitely a challenge for everyone. There’s definitely tension between the age groups, but I think it helps to see that awareness of the issue growing.

There’s still value in a performance evaluation, but I think you’re really going to see a lot more ‘in the moment’ coaching going on.
