It’s a bummer. We’ve been practicing for the last three to four months. I think there was a lack of commitment by some of the players.

When it became clear that the season was about to be cancelled, I encouraged Meghan to explore CSUMB. Thankfully, that will work out for her, and she will play there this season.

I’ve gotten by with 10 players before. Year after year, we struggle to get numbers. Usually, we pick some up as we go along.

We had a few players that had medical reasons. I don’t know. I think it was just a bunch of random things that led to this.

This is just a bump in the road. We’ll just start fresh next year. I have no doubts there will be a program.
