She’s a fierce competitor. She gives us something a lot of teams don’t have. She can do so many things down in the post and it really opens up the court for other players.

Karen did a great job of running the offense. When we started playing recklessly, she was able to get us back in the offense. When we stay disciplined, we’re a much better team.

We were too one-dimensional. They knew to stop Karen and Katie, and they got their points, but the other girls need to step up.

She was shooting the ball from the outside and knocking down 3s. She’s becoming a more complete player.

I keep an eye on it every week, but you can’t worry about it.

We’re trying to run and push more up and down the floor. She gives us another player who can apply defensive pressure.

We don’t play enough league games, so every loss in league is magnified. You can go from third to 10th with one loss. It’s pretty dramatic compared to other leagues.

The girls have been waiting a whole year for this. They’re ready to play.

It should be a fun game. They’ll play from the outside, we’ll play from the inside. It’s going to come down to whichever team can execute its offense against good man-to-man pressure.

It’s the same problem we’ve been having against better teams, people just are stepping up. We have to make some adjustments and work on getting more shots up.

She’s one of the hardest workers on the team. She’s not afraid to get in there and fight.
