There’s a confidence factor and pride factor. These kids are trying to match what other (Strongsville) teams have done.

We’re a perimeter-oriented team, so anything we get down low is very helpful. They defended Kyle pretty well ? Brunswick is a good defensive team ? but Nick really came up with some big plays.

We wanted to finish the season at 14-0 in the conference. They came in with a ton more intensity than we did. Brunswick deserved to win.

There’s very little difference between the two of us right now, if any. I wouldn’t be surprised if it came right down to the end.

Usually a team that hits that kind of shot rides the emotion through overtime.
