It was immersion in the sense that when we got out of the van (at the state park) no English was supposed to be spoken.

All my French students are fantastic. We’re a tight group.

And even if their language skills didn’t improve, which they all did, they became more confident in their ability to speak the language.

The overriding idea of the program is to speak French and build the students’ self-confidence and self-assurance in themselves.
