That was the most disappointing thing about this game. We have a veteran team and we should know what to do in those situations.

One time we had the bases loaded with no outs (in the second) and didn’t score because we couldn’t get the ball out of the infield and another time we look at two third strikes...

We just need people to step up better than they did today. But it’s not how you start (the season). It’s how you finish and hopefully we’ll be playing a lot better at the end...

I know both teams were looking forward to this one. It was intense. But I’d rather play games like this all year than some of those other (one-sided) games.
