I think we needed this practice to relax. We were putting too much pressure on ourselves and this will help to remind us how fun softball is supposed to be.

After playing so hard last weekend, we were physically and emotionally drained. The day off will help us get back to full strength.

I wasn’t even aware of it on the field. I was out there trying to hit the ball.

I knew today was our day. I just wanted to end it in the right way.

We learned that we can never give up. We also learned we need to hit the ball and score the runners when they get on base.

It was a very exciting play. I would have liked to have gotten the game over sooner so we could have gotten some more rest, but I’m happy with the result.
