Bridge is much more sociable than chess. To play bridge you have to be two, you and your partner, at least. And you’re playing with lots of other people.
It’s rather impersonal and probably a bit unsatisfactory. You don’t have this sort of atmosphere and this sort of exchange that you get when you’re in a club.
We have a large group of citizens who look for continuing education opportunities and they really enjoy the chance to read something they wouldn’t normally read.
We always find something good out of the book.
