You want to start playing better against some of the Big Ten teams. You get more of a feeling of who you’re going up against in your conference, and where you need to be.

[Penn State] Coach [Greg] Nye really didn’t put too much emphasis on the result. He was glad that we got it together as the round went on.

Individually, we need better fourth and fifth scores. We really need some good numbers out of those spots. We made some strides there. We had some guys step up in those roles.

We need to have a better second round of the first day. We’re losing a lot of shots there.

It just wasn’t very good, obviously. But you need to take into consideration what we were up against. The first round I really didn’t do anything all that well, especially putting.

The biggest goal right now would have to be to try to do as well as we can in our home event. We just have to try to get our games back into shape because...
