I’m not sure it would have mattered. We didn’t have her. There’s no excuses. We needed others to step up and not enough did.

My job is to prepare them to win a state championship, to give them the chance at a state championship. Those early season losses were good for them. They’ve grown and developed.

This was the toughest. There was a point this year I didn’t think we’d finish .500.

We finished great this season, except for tonight. We had to be active and aggressive against a very athletic team and we just didn’t do that.

What goes around, comes around. For years it was all about us. Now it’s all about them.
