This city is not very friendly to the homeless.
—Gail Sacco
With the help of other people, I give them their basic needs – toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap so they can wash their hands.
They were just coming down on Sundays at the time, but then I realized that folks needed to eat more than once a week, so we thought it would be helpful.
We feel that it should be a public park and that people should be able to eat and sit and talk and chat.
