The kids played hard and did what we asked them to do. We just came up short. We flat out got out-rebounded. That’s disappointing. They got a lot of second-chance opportunities and we didn’t.

It seemed like we didn’t hit shots early, our confidence kind of went, and we dug ourselves too big a hole.

I was very proud of this crew, because at no point did I sense that they gave up.

Tony, especially for a junior, has shown tremendous leadership all season long. He’s not afraid to take the big shot, and I am perfectly comfortable with him pulling the trigger.

We got a decent look, but the ball just didn’t go in. In that situation, I was pleased with the chance that we had.

I think this (setback) will make us a tougher team.

We just need to execute better, play defense and get the shots to fall and we’ll be alright.

I was really proud of the way we stayed with it.

Will John stepped up and made some big shots for us. He really took over for us late third quarter and early fourth quarter.
