Besides BU and UNH, it’s anybody’s game depending on the day and injuries.

Our defensive unit just put forth an absolutely awesome effort today. I can’t say enough about Sandra’s performance in net. She was just terrific.

Sandra played exceptionally for us today. I patted her on the back and told her she did her job well today.

We got out-hustled today. We did not do the simple things that we need to get done to win.

We were able to execute some things that we have been working on. Hopefully, the strong play will continue as we head into our second conference game this weekend.

It was a very tight game throughout. Despite the final result, I am very excited about how well we came out and competed.

Against Boston, our game plan was to try to keep possession a bit longer and pick the times when we want to go to goal. We weren’t as successful as we needed to be.

There was not a lot [Alvarez] could do on some of those goals.

The progress we have made at practice after playing these teams has been tremendous. It opens up concepts for us and allows us to see aspects of our game that really stand out.

It was a terrific home opener. I thought that both Lauren and Shannon [Frawley] really came up huge for us. This was a much-needed victory as we head into conference play.

All these kids put in a lot of time in January and show a lot of heart, but she is someone who has been here through seasons where they didn’t win any games. To continue...

Both have positive attributes, but Sandra will play a bigger role.

We’re trying to force low percentage shots. We need to take care of the ball more, continue to settle and work the options that we have set up.

With the exception of BU and New Hampshire, all the schools are pretty tight and we expect close games. Every game is pretty tough. We’re still growing as a team.
